Mparr Solutions was founded in 2007 by Mike Parr. Mike has been involved in the computer industry since 1977.
Mike has a team of qualified personnel in helping to maintain the highest professional standards in website and training services. Here is Mike's work history:
1977 Mike attended RETS technical school and was in the first class to attend classes on microprocessor technology. Mike attended 2 full years (no summers off) of Electronics Engineering classes. Some of the courses were digital technology, TV repair, Communications and more.
1979
Worked with Control Data Corporation as a computer technician, mostly working on on small scale computers.
1980-1988
Computer technician for National Semiconductor (Formerly Itel/NAS). Responsibilities included working on mainframe computers, disk drives, tape drives and more. Customers were Social Security Administration, AAI, Westinghouse, Alex Brown, APG, etc. Mike also picked up programming skills in languages such as Cobol & RPG.
1988-1991
East Coast Computer Specialist for a California-based super-computer company. Customers included Grumman, NSA, Westingouse and more.
1991-2007
Self-Employed
Started BPS Enterprises, a computer training company, to train small to large business in computer application training in Maryland and other parts of the east coast. Mike had numeous contracts with corporations & agencies such as APG, Westingouse, Grumman, Whiting-Turner, Monumental Life, Aegon, and more. Mike's company merged with IXI in 1997 and added ISP, Website design, hosting and programming services to the business.
