Thank you for purchasing, or considering purchasing a website. Here is the process we use, once you decide to move forward with a new website:

The Sale
Once you sign the sales contract, and gave us your downpayment, we will start to build your site. You will also receive an invoice describing due dates on future payments.

NOTE: All text and pictures must be submitted to us within 90 days!

Billing
Full payment is due within 90 days unless you worked out a specific payment plan, described in your sales contract.

Timeline
A website can be completed in as little as 4 weeks. In order for this to happen, we must receive final text and pictures, for all of your webpages, within 2 weeks of the signed date of your contract. Email your text and pictures to mike@mparrsolutions.com.

Programming Design
Programming would consist of a shopping cart, calendar, contact management program, scheduling system, bidding program, etc. If you purchased programming services, every programming job is custom developed to provide a solution to your needs. As such, we cannot give an exact job completion date. We can, however, give you an estimated delivery date based on the specific line-item from your sale. Website Domain Address (Example: www.mycompanyname.com)
Please make sure you have your website address established with your correct contact information. You should have also received an email or paperwork when you signed up for your domain. Please confirm that you have that information now. If it is incorrect, it could delay you getting your website published.

Phase I of your design
Your homework - You should start gathering all the pictures/images you want on your website. You should also write the text for each of the web pages. Please do not put this off. You may want to write one or two web pages of information each night. That way you will be done writing that information while we are completing the graphics area of your site.

Our homework - We take the "Website Design Worksheet" information and start to create your website. We use your logo, color preferences, and reference websites you said you liked. We then start crating your home page design. This generally takes around 7-10 days to complete. We will place basic text and images in your text areas so you can see what the site will look like once you approve the design. We will email you a link to a website address that will display your new website design. Please also make sure you are happy with all of the graphics and main buttons. Once you agree to that design, we will fax you a form to sign stating that the design is ready to be cut up into each of the subpages. Any changes after you approve that design, will be billed at an hourly rate.

Phase II of your design
We now start entering your text into each of the web pages. We will also contact you to take pictures, one-time of less than 1 hour, at your place of business. We will also need to pick up any brochures, photos or advertisements that you want on the site. It is your responsibility to check to make sure you are authorized to display specific pictures or images.

Photos
When selecting photos please make sure you have good quality. We can modify the picture a little but as they say, junk in equals junk out.

Scanning Images/Photos
We can scan images/pictures for you.

Phase III of your design
We now have completed adding all your text and images into your site.

FTP Needed
We will need your web hosting companies info called FTP. We will need a username and password to be able to publish your new site to the hosting server.

Email
Your web hosting company provides you with your email addresses. Please contact them directly on how to add, remove or modify your account information.

Search Engine Submittal
We will add keywords, desciption and meta tags to your site so that it will be easier for search engines to recognize what you do. We will also provide a one-time search engine submital to all the main search engines.

Website Updates
We will correct minor spelling errors for 30 days after your site is completed. After that, all updates are billable. It is important to keep your website up-to-date with the correct information. Here is more information on Web Updates.

Website Visits
By designing your website we do not guarantee any specific number of sales or visits to your website. If a company does guarantee that, you should take your money elsewhere immediately. After 10 years of being involved in designing websites, I have found that some customers do very well while other struggle to get noticed. What can you do to help get your site noticed?

The first thing you want to do is make sure all of your advertisements have your website address (Business cards, newspaper ads, brochures, radio ads, etc). After that you should consider optimizing your website. You could also start signing up for online ad's such as google adwords.

Also, your web hosting company should provide you with a web address that displays the visitors toyour site. They generally will show the results in a monthly column that you can click on to get a more detailed report. Contact your web hosting company for that web address.
